Professor Christian Lambert NGUENA, Ph.D, brings a wealth of experience to his role as a Senior Research Director and University Associate Professor. With 18 years of work experience, he has made significant contributions to the field of economics. At the University of Dschang, he serves as the Head of the Publications Unit at the Vice Chancellor's Office and the Coordinator of the Research Master in Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Management. Since 2018, he has been a member of the Academy of Young Scientists of Cameroon (CAYS), where he holds the esteemed position of the first Secretary General.

In addition to his academic achievements, Professor NGUENA has an impressive international background. He has worked with renowned organizations like the World Bank, the Nordic Africa Institute, the European Commission, the African Development Bank, the United Nations, and the African Capacity Building Foundation. He is also an active member of prestigious scientific societies such as the Econometric Society, CEDIMES, the African Finance and Economic Association, and the International Economic Association.

Throughout his career, Professor NGUENA has received numerous accolades, awards, and research grants. Notable among them are the Australian World Institute fellowship (2008), the University of Fribourg scholarship (2009), the United Nations research fellowship (2011), CRDI / Trust Africa research grant (2012), the World Bank Group fellowship (2013), International Economic Association World Congress for Economists grant (2015), University of Dschang research grant (2017), and the African Economic Research Consortium research grant (2019). He has also achieved the highest recognition in the continental university contest called "Concours d'Agrégation CAMES" (2021).

Recently, Professor NGUENA has been selected as a Guest Senior Researcher at the University of Uppsala-Nordic African Institute (2020), a Senior Consultant at the African Development Bank (RDGS) (2021), a Visiting Professor at the University of Huelva under the ERASMUS+ program (2022) and an Associate Researcher at the University of Clermont Auvergne (CERDI). His research work has been published in esteemed peer-reviewed and classified journals, and he serves as an editorial board member for several ranked journals. He also contributes his expertise as a reviewer for journals like the Journal of Financial Economic Policy, Portuguese Economic Journal, and African Development Review, among others.
